The Toyota Vanguard in Uganda
The Vanguard is the RAV4's Japan-only big brother — longer body, available third row, and a choice of 2.4 four or 3.5 V6. Because it was never sold new here, it costs less than its familiarity deserves, which makes it one of the quiet bargains of the import trade.
Under the skin it is pure RAV4, so parts and know-how are no problem despite the rarer name. The 7-seat version is the family pick; the V6 is for those who tow or simply want the extra power.
